CLOSING TIME

What if you could go back to before?

A darkly comic head-trip, CLOSING TIME is a short about the drug of memory: the sliding doors that led to where we are now, and the times where despite our best selves we fixate the doors we left closed. This film is embarrassingly personal, an ode to faded relationships that still give me inexplicable nostalgia. And few songs feel more binding to memory than Semisonic's “Closing Time”… the anthem to our fucked-up college reunion story.

PRESS & PRAISE FOR CLOSING TIME

“A mesmerizing masterpiece…” — Short Films Matter

“Goldman excellently carries us through his mystery revealing surprises along the way. The final revelations are haunting and very sci-fi, and it all ends in a Hitchcockian fashion.” — Total Film

“It’s an ode to Goldman’s directorial and writing skills that we get to witness what a wholesome multi-starrer can actually achieve.” — Indie Shorts Mag
